Firstly, it’s worth pointing out that few – if any – Business Coaching firms state their pricing details publicly. Of course, every business has a choice as to what and how they communicate their services. My personal belief is that by being fully transparent you will get the answers to your questions and I’m doing my bit to help demystify the Business Coaching industry.

Cost or Value?

Secondly, should you focus on cost or value?

If you believe that you can achieve the full potential of your business and in no less time than with the support of a business coach then being blunt, Business Coaching will be a COST to your business. Your decision should be easy…keep on doing what you’re doing.

That being said, given that people like Bill Gates of Microsoft and Eric Schmit of Google are frequently quoted saying things like “you’ll never achieve your full potential without the help of a coach” I’d be confident in saying it’s very unlikely coaching would be a cost to your business. Rather, should your focus instead be on what it’s costing you by NOT having a coach? How much additional VALUE could you and your business create by being pushed and held accountable to do the things you know you should be doing but aren’t? How much faster could you achieve your goals and how many potholes and mistakes could you avoid by having a coach guide you on your business journey?

Okay. So hopefully that helps set some context so back to the question….”how much does it cost?”

Different Programs

Your cost – or rather – your investment will depend on the size of your business and the program, that together, we decide is appropriate for the goals and challenges you are working on.

In some instances a Group Coaching program may be the most appropriate solution. This would certainly be the case if your key requirement was to gain the education in certain subject areas in which you are currently lacking eg Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Team Development, Business Planning etc. A program of this nature is focused more towards Education and will range between £195-£295 per month over a 12 month period. This type of program tends to more suited to smaller businesses (typically below £500k of turnover). All programs are subject to VAT.

Where your requirement is for a more bespoke understanding of you and your business, more accountability on a more frequent basis and with a deeper involvement with the people in your business, then one of the four One-to-One Coaching Programs would be more appropriate. A program of this nature is focused more towards Accountability and Growth and will range between £1500-£3000 per month over a 12 month period. This type of program is more suited to a business with turnover in excess of £500k and with whom we have identified good sales and profit growth potential. All programs are subject to VAT.

Guarantee

An extremely important point to note here is that a One-to-One Program will not be entered into without a Return on Investment Guarantee being agreed. This effectively means that Business Coaching will be free. See How does the guarantee work?
