I’ve been watching a client consistently implement some excellent disciplines in their business and their lives recently. And it’s a great example to illustrate this picture on my office wall.

The disciplines they are implementing are actually very small bite-sized things they do on a daily basis. Here’s the thing….as the habit is developed they derive mental benefits – the feeling of achievement and progress – every day.

This arguably is reward enough, however over time the compound effect of these small actions leads to significant outcomes. So in addition to the little wins along the way, these wins will lead to big results in the future.

Reminds me of a quote that I know to be true…..

“It’s not that people don’t know what to do. It’s that we often don’t do what we know”.

Well done guys. you know who you are.
