Arguably the world’s best football team – Barcelona FC – have announced that despite having ambitions to be the best, are too busy to continue with training. Instead their plan is to show up on match day and do their best.
Of course this sounds totally ridiculous doesn’t it? Of course it is! How on earth could you perform to the best of your abilities if you don’t train yourself and your team?
People perform at their highest level because they train consistently to firstly maintain a base level of performance and then continually growing from an ever-higher base level.
