One of the many benefits we can take from lockdown is that people are starting to realise that procrastination is pish!
I’ve seen faster action in the last few weeks than in any other 3 week period in a long while.
Why?
At last people have got over their perfectionist tendencies and the over-thinking habit (because time simply doesn’t allow it right now) and things are getting done in quick-time.
Stuff that was a project from the past that never quite got off the ground or a good idea that had been shelved till “next quarter” is being dusted down are pushed through. People’s creativity has been ignited and new – great – ideas are appearing.
Because of the “we’re all in this together” mindset I’m observing an attitude of “bugger it…it’s good enough and people will understand and we can adjust in flight if we have to” and things are starting to move again as a result.
Well done to you all and as the saying goes….
“Imperfect action is better than perfect inaction”
Let’s get moving folks and create the momentum we need to get the wheels turning!
