First things first….this quote applies to both genders….it’s just the way my gran said it to us all those years ago! And secondly, I’ve only just looked up who this quote was made by and it was James Allen…but as far as I’m concerned it’s my gran’s piece of wisdom! She was a wise old owl.
It reminds me of Earl Nightingale’s definition of success: “Success is the progressive realisation of worthy ideal“. The act of consciously moving forwards in a positive direction.
Zig Ziglar asked “Are you a wondering generality or a meaningful specific?”. Again, encouraging us to think about our purpose and our goals.
As business owners our teams are looking for direction right now. They want to know how we plan to navigate a path through the storm.
Communicate, Communicate, Communicate is the mantra right now. People will always follow good leaders.
